NATCOMP 2011: Central Zone Preliminary Round

Today, I was at Stadium Hoki Pandamaran Klang for the NATCOMP 2011: Central Zone Preliminary Round. The state level finals was also a preliminary round to find the top bands based on national rankings to participate in the final. 

It was a very sweet memory for me. Having had a number of sick band members the day before, it was touching to see them so reved up to perform in front of the crowd. This showed me they were serious, and were in it to win. The video and the pictures say it all...

To me, SJICB has always been special because they are known as one of the best and also because of the different shows they are able to put up year after year. They practised really hard for this year’s competition - berpanas terik setiap minggu, don't worry guys, hitam itu bergaya hehehe...

 After 4 days of intensive training in UKM, alhamdulillah we emerged as the Champion for the Kuala Lumpur Category and Open Category (KL/Selangor) 

We also won the best Drum Major for the Kuala Lumpur Category..Congrats Hafiz..x sia-sia glove baru kan hehehhehe...

By far, this year was SJICB's overall best :)  I am proud of you guys...Thanks to all the supporters, instructors, teachers, parents, sponsors and friends who came along and cheered for the boys..Really appreciate your constant support and for making this a big success!! and don't forget to come again for the Grand Final to be held on 17 July at Stadium Putra Bukit Jalil.!
